In a new report, the BCCA and the Baltic Development Forum outlines policy recommendations towards the creation of a single digital market. The aim is a European seamless market for digital business. But little is happening and the report calls for governments of the Baltic Sea Region to lead the way.
The report was presented during the annual Baltic Development Forum summit 2012 in Copenhagen. In a advisory group meeting during the conference, the conclusions were discussed with prime minister Ansip of Estonia who said the effort was very good and promised to push key items of the agenda in future.
The commitment of Mr Ansip and the Estonian approach to the digital society was a pivotal starting point for the work with the report.
